Fellow travelers…my first leg of the adventure proves you must always expect things to go wrong…my flight to Denver (from there we go from Denver to Phili then Phili to Zurich) is delayed four hours. Maybe even longer than that. So, in times such as these, an on-the-go traveler must re-assess, re-position, and RE-PACK!

Because I now might not be able to check into my airport hotel in Denver to sleep tonight, I made sure to snag my mini toiletries bag (toothbrush, toothpaste, facewash, handwipes, deoderant, lotion, etc.) from my backpack before checking it, along with a charger for my phone, computer, journal, and oh yeah, my extra pack o’ gum!

I could be sitting here for a few hours, so it’s a great time to do some research about your first stop on your journey; look up local sites to see, nearest hospital…those kinds of things. And definitely brush up on your country’s native tongue.
