Ok, so I have been to three countries in like five days. It’s been rough and this is the first time that I have had a chance to write about my experiences. So here we go. I like it when speakers first explain what they are going to talk about and then come back to those topics in more depth. That’s how this is going to be… I’ll give ya a little taste. Just to get you hooked. Kind of like the tiny amounts of gelato Hungarians give. Or like chum. If you don’t know what chum is, don’t worry about it. Basically it’s cat food and some other stuff. Probably blood.

So here are the topics: Possible disaster situations on trains. People vs. Nature. Money. Food and water.

Here’s the deal. You need a Eurail pass. It shows a list of countries that you can go to. The list of countries is so LARGE that you’re like ‘that’s every country in the world. I didn’t even know trains could go over bodies of water, but look Paris to Sydney.’ So you don’t bother to look at the fact that that train does not actually go to all the countries in the world, but all of them minus two: Poland and Sylvania. What? You went to Poland? Good thing earlier that week you found out you need to make reservations for the train. That way when you go to set up a reservation for Poland they tell you you actually need to purchase a ticket because Eurorail does not go to that country. Disaster averted. No! You also need to get your Eurorail validated. That means buying it is not enough. You also have to show it to someone and have them stamp it. With a stamp. Why? Who knows? But they will threaten you and you will be scared. What else could go wrong? Oh I don’t know. How about you’re on your train and having a great time and it stops off at a stop and you’re like ‘oh this isn’t my stop, I’m going to continue to play solitaire because the people I’m traveling with are talking to some guys from Amsterdam.’ The train starts up again and you realize the train actually broke apart into two trains, one to one location and another to another. Now the train you were on that was going to Krakau (sp? Idk it’s pronounced like crack how) is now going to some country that America forgot about. Believe me it can happen.
