Flyin high with the dragonfly


Uggggggghhhhhhhh.

So I’m sitting in my big red comfy chair with the back cushion taken off trying to figure out why anyone would want to read about my day, opinions or exploits. What? O, yea I take out the back cushion because it’s more comfortable that way. Don’t distract me. In truth, you are probably 50 times cooler/more entertaining/less attractive than I am, so why are you reading about me? Go out and do something worth writing about. For sake of argument, lets say you’re trapped in an office and don’t feel like working and you have already checked facebook. Ok that’s a good enough excuse. Maybe, you don’t know how to get out and do anything worth while? It’s cool I don’t either. I somehow hitched a ride with two girls that do. Yea two of ‘em. My advice to you, if you don’t know how to do something, fake it until you’re locked in. What? Fake it till you make it is already a saying? Hmm. My advice to you, shush up. You’re reading my blog, not the other way around. I am in the mood for some ice cream.

So let me tell you about this Travel Bug thing I weaseled my way into. We’re going to Europe and it’s a lot of work. Not so much work on my part because I’ve been “busy” ;) with school. Every now and then, however, Sierra or Shelley will be like, “hey Cody, can you buy you’re plane ticket and Eurorail card?” Or, “Cody, make sure to print out your insurance form and start a blog.” Or, “don’t start sentences with conjunctions.”

Today we had to get our business cards. (It’s totally 1980’s, I know) So last night Sierra calls and ask me to learn photoshop so I can put bugs on the cards. I’m a dragonfly. I didn’t want to be a bug, but Shelley told me this bug breaths fire, so I conceded. I learned photoshop and then we were in kinkos for 26 hours today. It was unbelievable how long it took. The cards are freaking cool though, especially the bugs on them. Maybe you already got one and that’s why you’re looking at the site now. Who knows? The world is a funny place.
